Sheila’s Dogs
Sheila has been owned by Doberman Pinschers for over 40 years. Here are a few of her beloved companions.
Paige — Caprigem’s Miss Betty Page CGC, WAC, CGN, ORT1
Paige is Sheila’s current dog. A 3-year-old Doberman Pinscher, Paige is currently showing in Canada in confirmation and trains in nose work as well as enjoying her role as Sheila’s 24/7 sidekick. Her duties at the pool include keeping the Wellsprings K9 blog – Front Paige News.
Drew – Sherluck’s Australian Red Fire Opal CGC, Registered Service Dog
September 4, 1998- November 23, 2006
Drew was an outstanding Registered Service Dog and niece to Sheila’s beloved Quinn. Drew worked as a medical service dog with disabled folks as well as being Sheila’s constant companion and dear friend. Her presence in Sheila’s life is truly missed.
Drew was trained by Sheila to open doors, pick up dropped objects, pull wheelchairs and a variety of other useful tasks to assist people with disabilities. She was also a seizure alert dog.
Quinn – American/ Canadian/ International Champion Wingates Revolution CGC, CD, TD, Registered Service Dog
May 5, 1993- December 10, 2003
Quinn was the love of Sheila’s life. A true ambassador for the Doberman Pinscher breed he excelled in both temperament and conformation.
Steady as a rock Quinn was a good-natured and an extremely intelligent dog. A true competitor, he easily completed his Championships before the age of two, but he was also a gentle soul who worked with autistic children as an assistance dog.
Quinn was Sheila’s protector and constant companion. She was so honored to have had him in her life for 10 yrs 7 months. To this day, he is deeply missed.
