  • How much time will my dog actually spend in the pool?

In a one-hour session expect your dog to spend approximately 50 minutes in the pool with the therapist, (depending on the individual dog). An intake of gait analysis and progress report is done at the start of each session. At the end of the session is drying time, homework assignment and assistance to your vehicle if needed. All sessions are one hour from start to finish.
  • What should I bring?

Please bring your own dog towels as we do not provide them. We do have a professional dog dryer to use if you wish, but all drying time, whether by towel or dryer, is included in the one-hour time slot.
  • Are non-pool sessions available?

One hour of therapy on our dog massage table is available for $75.00 per hour.
  • Can I swim in the pool with my dog?

We offer Self Swim sessions for owners who want to swim with their dogs. Self Swim sessions cost $60.00 for any time up to one hour.
  • How do I prepare my dog for a session?

    • Do not feed your dog for approximately 3 to 4 hours before the session.
    • Trim your dog’s nails.
    • Brush your dog to remove as much loose fur as possible before the swim.
    • Please arrive with enough time to walk your dog before the session to relieve bowels and bladder before pool time.
  • Is telephone advice and counseling available between sessions?

Client phone consultations may be prepaid at $55.00 per hour. Professional consultations to discuss the business of Wellsprings-K9 may be prepaid at $150 per hour.
